Pura Uluwatu - Seafood Dinner at Jimbaran
Bay
Founded in 976 and of the six
" Mother Temple " of Bali,
this rather small complex is breathtakingly
situated on e.g. the sleep cliffs
of South Bali's coastline. From
the outer walls of the temple the
view plunges to approximately 70
meters from the beach. It has been
told the cliffs, on which Pura uluwatu
has been built, are the petrified
remaining of the ship that carried
the goddess of the seas Dewi Danu,
to Bali, where she decided to stay
and rule.
A large number of tame sacred
monkeys lives in and around the
temple, expecting to be fed (do
not wear glasses, large earrings
or necklaces) the highlight of your
visit will be the magnificent sunset,
painting the ancient walls into
multi - colors reflections of the
ocean. Afterward we move to Jimbaran
Bay, where you will be pampered
right on the beautiful beach with
delicious variety of grilled seafood
such as king prawns, cuttlefish
and snapper, prepared on coconut
leaves. Nowhere else on the island
you can obtain fresher seafood than
there. Tasty Balinese sauce, rice
and potatoes accompany the course.
You will experience a unique atmosphere.
